Turn signals are standard on your car, learn how use them. Conversely just because you use your signal that doesn't give you the right to cut me off.

I drive a big truck, and I always take up 2 spaces. But I do it only if the parking lot has a far north 40, meaning- I go to the farthest part of the lot and park. Alone. Until I come out of whatever store I am in, and a car has parked too close to my truck, resulting in a dent in my door. That - I will never understand. hundreds of parking spaces around me - empty. But they park right next to the big black truck.

let's chat about parking at the ashburn post office. why is this always a challenge? people can never seem to park between the lines there, and then they seem to like to back out of their parking space without even looking if someone is coming! i saw two cars hit the other day because one was backing out while someone was parking in the spot next to them, and then to make it worse a second person started to back out. it was almost comical.

Yep..I have seen near accidents happen in this area also...On a similar note there has been instances when I have been backing out of a parking space and my car is clearly more than half out when ZOOOM..I have to break hard because the oncoming driver just cant stop for a few seconds and give way so that I can finish backing out:rolleyes3:

Phone carriers and yellow page publishers who dump a 10 lb brick of paper on your lawn wrapped in plastic that is obsolete the minute that they killed the trees and printed it. Just think of the environmental impact of stopping this practice. Time to "go green" and ask people to go online.

If you don't come to the meetings, don't complain that you don't know stuff.

Wait staff in restaurants who come by while you are eating and sweep near your table and scatter dust bunnies into your iced tea or food. What is that?? And trust me, now that I've told you...you'll notice it everywhere.

AGREE! I always ask that they refrain until later and also mention it to the manager on the way out. What a poor practice:shakehead:

To the lady who "returned" her Walgreens shopping cart to the middle of the parking space closest to the door...

    You are a lazy (_l_) !

The curb is not a cart return.

This is one of my pet peeves! I have a dent in the side of my car thanks to someone who decided to leave a cart in the middle of the parking lot that wasn't there when I parked and of course it blew into the side of my car after she/he left. THANKS!!!

To the man driving his gray Camry North on Claiborne Pky, please put your child in a carseat and strap her in. Letting her stand in the back, between the front seats, is a good way to make angels. That is all.

This is a repeat of my Unsaid Thread post during the 2009-2010 school year.

    Rant on:

The bus comes at 7:33am. Not 7:36am. None of us, who are there at 7:30, appreciate waiting the extra two minutes it takes out of our day every day as you pull up just when the bus is loading, wrangle your child out of the car, and run down the street. Yes. She's adorable. Yes, you seem lovely and sweet, BUT PLEASE GET THERE ON TIME. A whole school year of this wastes about 6 hours of time for each parent. Multiply that by the roughly 30 kids at the bus stop and you're destroying 7.5 DAYS of our collective lives because you can't get out of bed on time.

    Rant off.

Ummmm, they are obeying the law!

You do know it is the law to stop for a bus picking up children, right????

I'm pretty sure the poster wasn't upset about the drivers stopping, they were saying to add the drivers' wasted time to the aforementioned wasted time estimate :)

The poster is saying that the folks arriving at the bus stop late are ALSO causing other drivers to have to wait, thus wasting not only parents and student's time, but also the time of a bunch of other unrelated drivers who now have to wait even longer for the bus to load students and head to school...
