Tons of spam messages

    Just wondering what would cause my Yahoo e-mail account to receive over 400 pieces of spam in a span of just 3-4 hours. It wasn't just one sender and my spam filter (Yahoo) didn't pick up any of it.

    Probably just a hiccup on Yahoo's end; you probably get that much spam but never see it. For some reason, it sounds like Yahoo's spam detectors stopped for a few hours...

    I've been seeing tons more spam in my yahoo account too! For the last couple of weeks it's gone from maybe 5 spam messages to 75 in a couple of hours. And unfortunately it's been very consistent - it's been every day for awhile and I know I haven't changed any of my settings. Very annoying!
