The Mission Systems Business Unit of SAIC is currently hiring a Training Lead with a Full Scope Polygraph clearance.

Seeking a strong lead for talented group of 5-6 technical trainers on a well-established program. Training team deploys to international locations, including conflict zones. Training lead role envisioned to remain stateside most of the time but may be called upon to travel up to10%.


Lead role includes coordinating with operations and deployment teams to staff upcoming TDYs. Must be capable of organizing activities to update or develop new training materials in concert with program's development of software releases. Lead is also responsible for tracking and reporting training metrics.

Looking for strong background in technical training on software application systems; familiarity with hardware is a plus. Trainers occasionally assist in setting up the training environment, to include building servers connecting peripherals, and loading software onto workstations. Environment includes Linux and VM; development methodology is Agile.

Successful candidate will possess knowledge of, and demonstrable experience in, varied training approaches. Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and computer skills are required. Key technical skills include Microsoft Office and Adobe product. Current materials include four user manuals, multiple quick reference cards, and 100+ pages of training slides.


The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly accomplish tasks under limited supervision, and possess strong attention to detail.

Required Education/Skills: BS and 8 years professional experience as a trainer.

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance is REQUIRED.
