CWC has informed me they ran into a few problems with getting the antennas on the tower. Evidently the masting they had would not work correctly, and have a new one on rush order.

That's where we currently stand, more info to follow.

    The saga continues...

What's the chances of someone from CWC showing up for our next meeting? And, what was their excuse for missing the last one?

Do they have any wireless service established in this area or anywhere? I know they were new to the area many moons ago when you first started talking to them, but I can't imagine they haven't established service with someone by now. If they have, we need to talk to some of those customers to find out what they think of their service and reliability. If they haven't, they must have very deep pockets or maybe they're starting to run out of money while spending all this time trying to establish any type of service and source(s) of revenue.

I don't get a very warm and fuzzy about them -- we've only heard them tell us how great they're going to be and excuses for the delays. If we're having this many problems trying to buy service from them, we should really be concerned about how responsive they'll be when we've bought their service and start having problems. The contract clauses aren't going to do us a bit of good while the lawyers fight out the details and we sit around with unresolved service problems or more of their excuses.

We certainly should follow through with them a while longer after all the efforts spent on them already, and they were one of the better alternatives looked at. However, they need to show up at our next meeting to provide an update and answer our questions.
