Hyde Park Application Update

12/6/22 Update from Sylvia Glass’s Office:

Dear Broadlands Residents,

The Hyde Park residential rezoning application will again be deferred at the request of the applicant, and will be done by the Chair at the beginning of the meeting tonight. I regret that this application will once again need to be rescheduled and regret the confusion that has surrounded this process. Please know I have read your emails and Facebook comments, and I understand the position of those who have reached out on this application. I will communicate if a new date is selected for appearance at another Board of Supervisors’ Business Meeting (next available meeting is January 17th). Those who were planning to speak either virtually or in-person at this evening’s meeting can still do so (sign up information here: Loudoun.gov/4853). Questions or comments regarding the application can also be made by emailing me at Sylvia.Glass@Loudoun.gov, or by emailing the full Board of Supervisors at BOS@Loudoun.gov. The full staff analysis packet for the rezoning can be read here: loudoun.granicus.com/MetaViewer.php?view_id=86&event_id=3380&meta_id=219859. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out.

Sincerely,

Sylvia
